What is the best type of coffee?

I want to get some fresh coffee to grind up and brew, but I’m wondering what the best type is. There are so many. Kona, Sumatra, Columbian, etc.

First of all, do you want your coffee plundered and pillaged for you? If not, buy fair trade coffee.

Second, are you going to add sweetener or lightener? If so get a medium to dark roast: a Kenyan,guatamalan or sumatra might be a good choice. None or very little added: a lighter roast such as a Peru or bolivia.

Third, for more of all of the flavors that the coffee beans have to offer get a french press aka: a plunger coffee maker it takes a little more effort but is much better than an automatic machine.
