Does anyone now if you can buy Brook’s Japanese Royal Blend Coffee in Ireland?

I tried the Brook’s main web page but they only ship to Asia and Australia. Surely there’s a site or place that will post the coffee to Ireland. It was brought back from Japan in the first place but can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Unfortunately, it is not available to the UK and Ireland at this time. I did a search across both English and Japanese websites and it appears that they only ship to Asia and Oceania.

The best thing to do would be to contact a friend or relative in Japan and ask if they could send you some over. Alternately, have a look for online communities and people who are willing to shop for things in Japan, providing you pay them via PayPal or something. I believe LiveJournal has several of these.

Good luck!

Engaging Thoughts On How Child Compensation Claims Are Increasing In Ireland

Recent reports have shown that youngsters in Ireland aged between 3 and seven have the most accidents that lead to compensation claims against those that are perceived as being to blame in the situation. This might be no surprise given that kids at this age are acknowledged to be at their most adventurous, yet does emphasise the point that Ireland is becoming a more litigious culture by the year.

Children in between 3 and 7 actually accounted for 25% of injury claims regarding children in 2010, whilst the age bracket of 7 to 10 year olds was following in line, with 21.7% of the total. Younger children though – all those aged from 0 to three years old – made up just 7.5% of the number, most likely due to the fact that they are typically closely watched by a grown-up all the time.

In reality, in terms of the entire amount that youngsters acquired in compensation pay outs in 2010, the particular amount totalled €8.5 million – the largest sum ever within the nation’s history. These kinds of settlements ranged from a massive €173,000 down to €500, with obviously the more substantial cases garnering the most amount of money.

This latest pattern might be due to the fact that parents are able to claim with no need for large amounts of cash and with no risk of facing large bills after an unsuccessful claim. It’s because no win no fee solicitors are becoming commonplace through the country recently, following on from their emergence throughout a great many other Western nations.

These kinds of solicitors offer their client the possibility to chase a legal case with no need for payment, as they get their fees from the opposite side should the case achieve success. In the event the case fails, then the solicitors will charge no fee for their service – meaning no risk at all for their clients.

Many individuals see this as being a worrying indictment of contemporary society, but some others claim that this is only making the legal system one that is fairer to the people with no economic capacity to chase what is truly owed to them.
