Grounds for Golf $6.99 Golfers dream of playing the legendary courses of the game: St. Andrews, Augusta National, Pinehurst, Pebble Beach. And anyone who has played the royal and ancient sport is an armchair architect at heart. From alterations for their home course to visions of their very own backyard dream course, most golfers would love to test their hands at course design. What makes certain courses timeless? Unlike the venues of other popular recreational sports like tennis and racquetball, whose playing fields are bound by strict measurements that do not vary, each golf course is unique. Offering an endless topographical variety, from short to long, flat or hilly, wet or dry, every course represents a compelling blend of risks versus rewards, with decisions and challenges to test every golfer’s game and mental toughness. Combining Geoff Shackelford’s informative narrative with detailed illustrations by architect Gil Hanse, Grounds for Golf explains the fundamentals of golf course design in an understandable and entertaining style. Modern photographs, anecdotal sidebars, and witty quotations augment a course design primer that will enhance readers’ enjoyment of golf’s lore while introducing the fundamentals of course design. By explaining the golf course from the ground up, Grounds for Golf will not only help readers in their understanding of the game, but will help their games themselves. |

Uncommon Grounds: $13.56 Uncommon Grounds tells the story of coffee from its discovery on a hill in ancient Abyssinia to the advent of Starbucks. In this updated edition of the classic work, Mark Pendergrast reviews the dramatic changes in coffee culture over the past decade, from the disastrous “Coffee Crisis” that caused global prices to plummet to the rise of the Fair Trade movement and the “third-wave” of quality-obsessed coffee connoisseurs. As the scope of coffee culture continues to expand, Uncommon Grounds remains more than ever a brilliantly entertaining guide to the currents of one of the world’s favorite beverages. |

Quite A Few Great Grounds That You Might Possibly Decide To Consider Starting A Home Business
If you’re a business man or at the very least own or do business with folks on a normal basis, I have only one particular query for you. Are you working from home, and if not precisely why the heck not? Let me inform you that I previously used to think, very much like you probably do, that home based business was for the gurus along with the social derelicts in our midst who couldn’t take the challenges of the boiler room. Right? That’s what you’re thinking at this time are not you?
Well I just want you to be open minded and listen to me whilst I try to convince you that home based business is truly what all of the smart guys are carrying out, not the losers. I am just causing you to be nervous are not I? Yeah, I am saying that you mightn’t be as cool as you believe you might be. So how do I begin? Well for starters you are not as cool because you are more of a slave to the status quo than you could believe. You probably need to where a suit daily which probably cost a whole lot (unless of course you work at Art Van), and it probably costs a whole lot on a normal basis to get cleaned out, and it probably is not as comfortable as sweat pants are. The only real reason you wear it really is on the grounds that there’s an expectancy that you, as a suitable businessman would do it. When you give consideration to it there’s simply no other reason. Complementary ideas can be identified throughout home business programs akin to Home Cash Flow Solution review.
This brings up enormous numbers of silly points that you do that if they do not in actual fact trigger you to be much less productive are a minimum of not useful. Who states that the normal enterprise day is the very best time to work. I do not know about you but I like to have the ability to get issues completed like go to the bank along with the doctor’s office every now and then . These are essential right? But exactly how often do you really feel excellent about it whenever you have got to take time off work to do these tasks that everyone must complete.
