I am from South Florida and I have seen enough Body Works, Macy etc. stores accross all america retailers. Looking for Collectors DJ / Vynal Music type stores….No I don’t mean Virgin Megastore although I will probably stop there.

Best breakfast is the Pantry, downtown LA. Big portions, they never close.
In-N-Out Burger: Multiple locations, best burger in LA, ask anyone.
Pink’s Hot Dogs: 709 N. La Brea, just north of Melrose. You might even see a celebrity. Maybe.
Tommy’s Chili Burgers: Look for the shack, an LA tradition. The original location is at Beverly & Rampart, a couple miles west of downtown.
Canter’s Deli: 419 N. Fairfax, between Beverly & Melrose. Near CBS, you might spot a celebrity.
Phillippe’s: 1001 N. Alameda. Great roast beef sandwiches. Near Union Station and Olvera Street. Watch the mustard, it’s hot.
The Pantry: Corner of Figueroa and 9th, downtown. Huge portions, they never close, GREAT steak and eggs.
Santa Monica Pier is where a lot of locals go to the beach. It’s easy to get to. I go there for the historical ambiance, not for the rides on the pier. And Venice Beach, a short bike ride south, is a total freak show on the weedkends.
Farmers Market/Grove is a very cool place to check out. A little of the old, a little of the new.
