So far I’ve been to Capitola Village, the Boardwalk, exploring the coffee shops, the bike church, garlic festival, any other recommendations? I’m actually thinking of things I can do with my wife when she moves up here so she won’t miss home (LA) too much. Yes, people who grow up in LA mis LA (like me!).
Go down to Soquel for a stroll. It’s a nice town. Go up north on Hwy 9 a short distance and hike in the forest. Visit the Surfing Museum at the SC Lighthouse. Go up the coast a few miles and visit a couple of the other lighthouses. Go down Hwy 101 a few miles and hike in Pinnacles National Monument.
