When I was a kid, my mom used to take me and my brother for white chocolate strawberry ice cream at Nordstroms in San Jose CA. It was at the coffee stand in front of the store (not the restaurant cafe)

It was pink, sweet and grainy.. the sugar seemed to desolve like cotton candy.
