Another benefit of following fair trade practices is that they are much better for the environment.  When the farmers are able to get more money for their products, they have the ability to use more environmentally sustaining farming practices.

More and more people are choosing to make the switch to fair trade coffee as the awareness of this movement increases.  In addition to that, many companies have jumped on the bandwagon in order to meet the rising demand for fair trade products.  This means that as a consumer you will now find it much more common to see fair trade coffee.  As a matter of fact, there are several reputable online dealers who will deliver fair trade and organic coffee right to your doorstep.
